Privacy Policy
Version 1.0.3 · Effective June 5, 2026
Privacy Policy
Masaar OS (referred to in this Policy as "we", "us", or "our") provides the websites, applications, dashboards, and platforms we make available (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who this Policy applies to
This Policy applies to:
- visitors to our websites;
- registered users and account holders (including business and staff users of our dashboards); and
- customers whose information is processed through the Services in connection with an order or service.
In some cases we process personal information on behalf of the businesses that use our Services to run their operations. Where we act on a business's behalf, that business's own privacy notice may also apply to your information.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information.
Information you provide to us
- Identity and account information — such as your name, display name, email address, and the credentials used to access an account.
- Contact information — such as your phone number.
- Communications — the contents of enquiries, feedback, or support requests you send us, for example through a contact form.
- Optional details — such as gender, where you choose to provide it.
Information relating to orders and transactions
- Order and transaction details — such as order history, items requested, quantities, amounts, the payment method used, and payment status.
- Delivery and location information — such as delivery addresses and the approximate location associated with an order.
- Payment note — we do not store complete payment card numbers. Card and online payments are handled by third-party payment providers; we receive only limited information such as the payment method type and whether a payment succeeded.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and usage information — such as IP address, browser and device type, and activity logs generated when you use the Services.
- Cookies and session identifiers — small identifiers that keep you signed in and help keep the Services secure (see Section 4).
We may combine the information we collect from these different sources.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
- create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
- process, fulfil, and keep records of orders and transactions;
- respond to your enquiries and provide customer support;
- protect the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain security and audit records;
- monitor, analyse, and improve the Services; and
- communicate with you about the Services, including service-related notices; and
- comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use only essential cookies and session identifiers that are necessary to operate the Services — for example, to keep you signed in and to protect against unauthorised access. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below.
- Service providers. With third parties that perform functions on our behalf — such as hosting and infrastructure, authentication, data storage and content delivery, payment processing, and communications. These providers may access information only to perform those functions and are required to protect it.
- Businesses and partners. With the businesses, merchants, or partners involved in providing a product or service to you — for example, to prepare and deliver an order.
- Legal and safety. Where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of any person.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security and audit records, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your information, where applicable;
- object to or restrict certain processing; and
- withdraw consent where our processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@masaaros.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Where information is controlled by a business you interact with through the Services, we will direct your request to that business as appropriate.
9. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. International data transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you are located. Where we do, we take steps designed to ensure your information remains protected in accordance with this Policy.
11. Third-party links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not operate or control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and we may communicate material changes through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
